I have been unable to find "over-the-calf" socks that are not "tube" socks in any local store. I ordered a pack of these to try them and have been very pleased. They are very good quality and not too expensive.

Good socks. I wear these with cowboy boots. I am a size 13 and these socks are large enough to fit just right. Since they stay up, I am not always having to pull them up. These socks are a medium thickness, just right for boots.

I had searched everywhere for over the calf socks for my fiance to wear with boots. He's a horse trainer and spends HOURS in the saddle in boots, and your legs can really get rubbed if you don't have a good quality sock to wear under these conditions! The chintzy tube socks by the *major* brands found in most retail outlets are awful, and even worse, THOSE have almost become impossible to find these days. Thank goodness for these socks...my fiance loves them, and says they are the best socks he's ever worn. It may sound crazy to get so hyped up about socks, but they are a total essential for those who wear works boots of any sort for their jobs. I've repurchased, and will do so again, Please don't discontinue these!!

Bought these socks and received in a very timely manner. I have a hard time locating over the calf socks. My husband wears boots to work and likes over the calf socks and we can not find them anywhere anymore. Used to be that we could find them everywhere, but not anymore, everyone just sells the short ones.
