These adaptors are well designed, with the "L" shape the tend to stay in the phone better than other adaptors with a wire, or straight in connection. That being said, the "USB" type connection required to use headphones with the G1 is a mistake by Product Management at Google - 1) Why force people to pay for an adapter to use their headphones with the G1 (the little "stick-it-in-your-ear" headphones that come with the G1 are not usable by some people. 2) no matter how good the adaptor is it will ALWAYS come lose, unlike the "tried-and-proven" 3.5mm connection that every other headset maker has included on their phone since day 1. 3) The G1 adapter plug in point is a "weak point" in the phone, that will, because of forced extented use, will break one of the little connections at some point. 4) Keeping up with Apple is not always the best requirement for design of new phones.

This works perfect with the G!. Only problem is that it does not support voice (haven't fully tested yet) Great Buy. No need to get those special mini-usb headphones

It is tiny and firm - I just leave it always on the headphones and it feels perfectly natural there. Also, because it is bended (90 degrees) it gives me a lot of flexibility in tight spots (e.g when the smartphone locked in car's holding arm).
Well, it is just an adapter - It won't make you coffee. But it works great.

This product works as advertised but beware it will not support voice transmission. You need a different dongle for a talking headset, but this worked great for stereo headphones.
