I simply needed to stock up on a set of basic gym shorts - these fit the bill just fine. They don't have pockets which I didn't really mind. And at this price point (just under $6 with Prime free shipping) I wasn't complaining.

Here's a great cover up for after the pool to go to the grocery store as a cover-up. Would work better with pockets, but put your check card in the waist band. Buy the size or one smaller, great material-best in class-and reasonably short enough inseam
